Men, we have a crisis!
I am not sharing any breaking news when I state many men struggle when it comes to building deep relationships with other men.
Sure, we men have relationships but do we really have those relationships with other men that are built on a deep foundation?
My experience has shown me many men lack the type of relationship that demands accountability. If we were being honest, many men hide behind a facade. We never want the world.to see our vulnerabilities.
We go through life hiding in our Man Cave!
We create this safe space where we hide our true self from the outside world!
We quit living a full life as we are in fear of being exposed as a fraud.
That fear causes pain in our life!
The pain we have causes us to be inauthentic.
How do I know this? That used to describe me.
I was always in fear of being exposed. Even in my moments of success, I maintained a mindset that I was a fraud. I knew it would only be a matter of time before I was exposed.
As a man thinks, so it shall be.
I allowed those fears of being exposed to hold me back. I failed to see myself as that elevated man only to eventually self sabotage to remain at the level I knew and was comfortable at, however, we were never created to only be comfortable.
We only grow emotionally, spiritually and physically when we experience being uncomfortable!
A new mindset was needed and I began to build the foundation upon which I would take that elevated stand. It led me to be a risk taker and no longer be in fear of being exposed!
It brought me a clean slate!
